Na+ Ion Conducting Nano-Composite Solid Polymer Electrolyte – Application to Electrochemical Cell

Various concentrations of Multi Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MCNT) fillers dispersed PVDF- HFP: NaClO4 nanocomposite polymer electrolytes (NPE) were prepared by solution casting technique. The dispersion MCNT nano raised the accessibility more ions for attaining highest conductivity. Electrical conductivity, Ohmic resistance (RΩ), Polarisation resistanace (Rp), and Warburg impedance (W) studied using electrochemical spectroscopy (EIS), which revealed ion transport mechanics in electrolytes. best ionic conductivity is found to be 8.46 × 10-3 Scm-1 7 wt.% Nanocomposite Solid Polymer electrolyte among all samples. Electrochemical cell was made PVDF-HFP:NaClO4 : exhibited 1.95 V open circuit voltage 2.5 mA short current, respectively.
